Quartermaster (n) 1: a scout responsible for keeping inventory of troop equipment and reporting on the status of equipment in need of replacement or repair. 2: a troop’s supply boss. Archive (n) 1: a place in which public records or historical documents are preserved.

The Quartermaster Archive is a website exploring the significant yet overlooked ways in which the Boy Scouts of America have influenced American culture since the Movement’s inception in 1910. It’s curator, James Corporal, joined the Boy Scouts in 1992, attended the National Jamboree in 1997, and received the rank of Eagle Scout in 1999.
